Dads Group at Church Hill

Our Dads’ group is open to all male carers with young children and aims to:

 

  • acknowledge and promote the role of fathers and other male carers in their children’s learning and development.

 

  • provide male carers with opportunities to play and learn with their children, in a safe and welcoming setting.

 

  • provide male carers with opportunities to get to know one another socially; sharing their their experiences of raising children and guiding their learning and development.

 

  • provide information and resources for male carers.

 

  • draw on the experiences of male carers; supporting and advising one another.

 

  • share information about places to visit, books and songs for children and activities to try at home.

 

 

The Dads’ group meets currently meets monthly; both at local venues and at the Nursery School and Children’s Centre.
