Early Years Pupil Premium
The Early Years Pupil Premium is additional funding given to publicly-funded schools in England to help narrow the gap between children from advantaged and disadvantaged backgrounds.
It is allocated to children who would be eligible for free school meals if they were in primary or secondary school.
At Church Hill and Low Hall we have used the Early Years Pupil Premium to:
- fund an additional teacher who will plan enrichment activities with the children entitled to the funding, activities such as cooking, art and craft, games and local outings
In 2015-16 we plan to use the funding to pay for:
- subsidised places for school trips
- extended sessions/time at nursery
